Absa Premiership leaders Kaizer Chiefs travel to the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Wednesday looking to pile more misery on Chippa United.
Chiefs' depth will be tested after they played 120 minutes and took part in post-match penalties against Orlando Pirates in the Telkom Knockout on Saturday afternoon.
Ernst Middendorp's charges currently sit five points clear of second-place Mamelodi Sundowns, who they defeated 2-0 last weekend thanks to a brace from Samir Nurkovic.
Chippa, meanwhile, are still searching for their first league of the season have only registered four draws and five losses in their opening nine games.
Similarly to Chiefs, Chippa were taken to penalties over the weekend, although they lost out to Sundowns in their Telkom Knockout quarter-final at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Last season's contest in Port Elizabeth ending a 1-0 win for the Chilli Boys in the league, while Chiefs claimed a 4-2 win in the Nedbank Cup.
