According to reliable sources within the club, Sundowns are believed to be in discussion regarding the player's future, with having one and a half years left on his contract.
"It seems the main problem now is with the player. You know he has been through three different head coaches and all of them don't really use him. There should be a problem there and that is why the club is set to take the final decision on his future because he is contracted until June 2026. He signed a four-year deal when he joined in 2022 and he hasn't really played whether under Rulani Mokwena or Manqoba Mngqithi and even now under Miguel Cardoso," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

Indications are that financial considerations are playing a role in the club's decision.
"I think it's also about cutting off the salary on a player who is not playing that much or hardly playing. Apparently he is one of the highest paid players not just at Sundowns but in the league as well," the source added.
Since returning from his loan at the start of the season, the 28-year-old has played only one Premiership match and two games in the CAF Champions League.
The Siya crew reached out to Sundowns for comment, with no response received at the time of publishing.
