Kodisang has made just four appearances in all competitions since his blockbuster move to the Brazilians from Portuguese outfit Moreirense as he looks to acclimatize to his surroundings and adjust to the demands of South African and continental football, having been overseas since 2018.
His slow start however, has not deterred the 25-year-old from sharing his admiration for the type of club he has found at Chloorkop, as he looks to make his own mark.
"This is a fantastic club. The energy and atmosphere around the team is amazing. The stature of Mamelodi Sundowns is massive, not just in South Africa but across the continent. It is a club with a rich history, high ambitions and a winning mentality, which is something I am proud to be a part of. The level of professionalism here is top-notch; the doors are always open and everything is organized to help us focus on our performance. The training grounds, the staff, the support structure—it is all set up to help players succeed," he told Sundowns' official magazine.

For the limited game time that he has had, Kodisang has already managed to find the back of the net for coach Manqoba Mngqithi's side and he is hoping to contribute much more in the coming months.
"I am looking forward to working hard, learning from my teammates and contributing to the Club's success. We have an opportunity to win an eighth consecutive league title, which would be a huge achievement. Additionally, I am excited to make our mark in the CAF competitions and other domestic tournaments. Sundowns are a club that always aims for the top and I am determined to play my part in achieving that," he said.
