"You know as Sundowns, we are used to seeing the team on top of the log and that's my wish for this Christmas. I know we have not played well in some games but things are not also that bad. It's just that we are used to winning all the time hence my we wish this Christmas is to see the club top and maintain it until the end of the season," Gondwe told Soccer Laduma.

The former midfielder also called for Sundowns to add more silverware to their cabinet this season.
"We have already lost out on the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout but I think we still have the chance to win one more trophy apart from the league. We have the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League to fight for, just as we fight for the league title.
"We need to go all out in all the remaining competitions now and make sure we win the league and at least one other trophy," Gondwe concluded.
