Kaizer Chiefs are understood to be closing in on one of their January transfer targets, the Siya crew has learnt.
With Chiefs already securing the signing of Tashreeq Morris, reports suggest that Makabi Glody Lilepo, the 27-year-old forward from DR Congo, has agreed to personal terms with Kaizer Chiefs for a move from French Ligue 2 side Valenciennes.
This marks a significant step forward in the transfer saga, with talks now progressing between the two clubs.
Despite some initial reluctance from Lilepo, whose preference was to remain in Europe, the green light has been given from the player's side, with the terms reportedly agreed upon.

His agreement paves the way for the transfer to move forward, pending the finalisation of the deal.
Chiefs, according to reports, have already submitted a R9.6 million offer for Lilepo, which is understood to be acceptable to the financially struggling French club. The transfer fee is seen as adequate to meet Valenciennes' needs, and negotiations between the clubs are now ongoing.
Lilepo has been in good form this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions. His performances have caught the eye of Chiefs, who are keen to strengthen their attacking options for the remainder of the campaign.
