Kaizer Chiefs seem to have lost the plot in recruiting goalkeepers and former shot-stopper Brilliant Khuzwayo has lifted the lid on a method that worked before from Brian Baloyi to Itumeleng Khune.
There is pressure on Chiefs to start looking at signing another goalkeeper after below part start by Fiacre Ntwari.
As has been the case with players, the easiest solution when things are not working is to release and buy new ones, with the hope that things get better.

Khuzwayo has revealed that the Glamour Boys used to recruit only goalkeepers playing for the junior national teams, which why the likes of Brian Baloyi, Rowen Fernandez, Emile Baron, Khune and himself were able to stand the test of time and also represent Bafana Bafana.
"(When you sign for Chiefs) it must be on merit. If you take any keeper that's not playing for their national team and say they need to be Chiefs number one, for me I think that's not good enough," Khuzwayo said on SoccerBeat YouTube Channel.

"Chiefs took me when I was playing for (national team) Under-23, they didn't just take any goalkeeper. Before that there was Thela Ngobeni, he was playing U-20 World Cup.
"Itu was playing for U-23, Rowen Fernandez was playing for (the national team), Brian Baloyi, Baron, so if those goalkeepers were playing for (the national team), why can't we go back to taking a keeper that would fight and play for Bafana Bafana?" the former Pirates shot-stopper asked.
Chiefs signed Daniel Akpeyi in 2019, who was the number one of Nigeria and were linked with Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United, before they signed Ntwari, who is also the number one shot-stopper at the Super Eagles.
