Kaizer Chiefs defender Rushwin Dortley has shared his confidence ahead of his team's upcoming match against AmaZulu with the club looking to bounce back after their 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.
Dortley believes the overall team performance against Bucs was encouraging, and Amakhosi are entering the clash against Usuthu in a positive mindset.
"The Derby was an amazing experience for me, personally. I always watched the game on television, and now I got to play in it, but unfortunately, the result didn't go our way. However, the team performance was good and we are going into our upcoming game against AmaZulu in a positive frame of mind. The team is ready to go and fight for the three points," Dortley told the club's media department.
In Tuesday's match, the Glamour Boys will face AmaZulu, coached by former Kaizer Chiefs legend Arthur Zwane. However, Dortley is not concerned about any potential inside knowledge Zwane may have gained during his time at the club.
"We have done thorough preparation for this game and we have a strategy. Things have changed here since Arthur Zwane left and new coaches have come in, so I don't think he has any inside track on how things work with the team now," Dortley commented confidently.

The match against AmaZulu marks the start of the second round of the Betway Premiership campaign, and Kaizer Chiefs are determined to finish the season strongly. Dortley emphasized the team's goal to climb the table.
"Our focus is to win every game and claim maximum points in order to move up the table. While it is still mathematically possible, our goal is to win the league, but if not, at least finish in the top three and qualify for a CAF competition next season. We really want to represent the club on the continent again," he added.
