Kaizer Chiefs could be open to allowing a defender to move to PSL competitors as plans for squad changes in Naturena appear to be taking shape.
Following his lack of regular game-time at Chiefs, Happy Mashiane could be allowed to move on to improve his chances of playing in the second half of the season, according to close sources.

Mashiane has made only four league appearances and all as a substitute so far this season and his future with the Soweto giants has become increasingly in doubt.
Previously, the 27-year-old left-back was linked with several clubs in the Betway Premiership including Stellenbosch FC, Chippa United, SuperSport United and AmaZulu.
Following his cameo appearance against Stellenbosch last week in the latter stages of the match, the Tembisa-born player appears to have reminded the Cape Winelands' outfit about what he can do as news out of the club is that interest in his services has been revived.

Furthermore, with Stellies and Bafana Bafana defender Fawaaz Basadien remaining a target for Chiefs, indications are that Mashiane could be used to sweeten the deal to get Amakhosi their main target.
"Chiefs will be willing to allow Happy Mashiane to move, especially if they succeed in getting some of their targets. The boy has been unlucky with lack of game-time, but he remains one of the best for his position. Stellenbosch is monitoring his situation," said the source.
