Kaizer Chiefs youngsters have upped their game under head coach Nasreddine Nabi and former coach Cavin Johnson singled out one for greatness.
Chiefs youngsters such as Samkelo Zwane, Wandile Dube and Mduduzi Shabalala showed potential under former coach Arthur Zwane.

However, the pressure seemingly became too much, during the Molefi Ntseki era and even under interim coach Johnson.
However, Johnson, who has an esteemed background and huge success in youth football, gave Mfundo Vilakazi his big break at Chiefs in the 2023/24 season.
Vilakazi has grown in leaps and bounds under Nabi, who also believes in the young players at Amakhosi.
Above them all, Johnson believes Vilakazi has the potential to carry the Chiefs jersey and handle stardom, because he is used to playing in big crowds from an early age.
"This is where I see Mfundo Vilakazi having a little bit more over the other players, because when I watched him before (he joined Chiefs), he was playing kasi football when he was 11, 12 and he had people (crowd) around him," Johnson said in an interview on Smash Sports YouTube Channel.

"When you look at Philly's Games, he was playing in front of crowds of people long before he knew he was good. He was also playing against people much older than him, that is the key. You can see, when I played him last year, he made one trick that no one makes, they (players his age) are not brave enough to make the trick."
Johnson went on and compared 'OB' to former SuperSport United and Platinum Stars midfielder Masibusane Zongo.
"Everybody says showboating, it's not about showboating, it's a South African ability to change the game without being direct. When you look at Zongo and him (Vilakazi), Zongo always made that stupid trick but the next pass was always forward. This is what this kid has got," Johnson added.
