Miguel, who has played in various leagues and for multiple clubs across his career, expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to represent one of South Africa's most iconic football teams.
"I have to be honest. For me, I've played professionally for maybe 11 years. I can say without any problem that playing for Kaizer Chiefs has been the most pleasurable," he said, speaking to the club's media team ahead of their upcoming Betway Premiership clash with AmaZulu.
The Angolan defender went on to highlight the unique environment at Chiefs that has made his time in the club truly special.
"At the moment, the club that I play for, not only for the support but for everything — the structure of the club, the love that we receive, for all the stadiums that we play. It doesn't matter if it's in Johannesburg, Durban, Polokwane, or Cape Town — it's amazing to play for this shirt."
"You are always motivated because of the love that the supporters give to us. So for me, it's been amazing since the first day that I arrived. I wish that we continue this way together and achieve a lot of things if we stick together," he said.
