Kaizer Chiefs are yet to score a goal in 2023, a worrying sign for coach Arthur Zwane's side; however, the coach has revealed why he is not putting pressure on the club's latest recruit to solve their goalscoring woes.

Last week, Chiefs announced the capture of Congolese striker Christian Saile Basomboli from Nchanga Rangers.
Upon his arrival at Chiefs, he has managed to score seven goals in 18 matches in the Zambian Premier League this season.
While he is expected to have an immediate impact at Naturena, Chiefs coach Zwane says there is no pressure on the 22-year-old to shoulder the club's scoring woes.
"We expect Christian to come in and hit the ground running, but also, we don't want to put him under pressure because there's many other players who can take responsibility, that's why I'm saying, we're just not hitting the target, not that we don't get to the final third," Zwane told journalists after their loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
"I was gonna be worried if we weren't creating those chances at all. How many times did we get into the final third in the second half? When you think a player should just poke a ball [in].
"Sometimes, we are too hasty, we need a bit of composure inside the box, an extra touch on the ball and that will help us going forward," Zwane said of his side's struggles.
It is back to the drawing board for Zwane's men, who have now slipped into sixth position on the DStv Premiership standings, with Royal AM their next opponents.
