The story
Pirates advanced to the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over second tier Baroka at Orlando Stadium.
Tshegofatso Mabasa scored a hat-trick, with two assists from Patrick Maswanganyi, keeping their hopes alive for a third consecutive cup win.
Beyond his crowd-pleasing heroics on the pitch, 'Tito' made the day a lot more memorable for a young fan of his after the full-time whistle.
The young Bucs fan held up a "I Love You, Tito" placard, with a picture of him alongside Maswanganyi from a previous meeting.
The sign drew the attention of the Bafana Bafana international, who then brought the child onto the pitch from the stands to take more pictures with him.
