The story
Bafana Bafana legend Teko Modise is highly regarded in pop culture, not only for his successful career with two of the country's big three clubs but also for his ventures beyond football, where he has made a name for himself in brand influencing and fashion.
'Dona' as he's affectionately, was spotted at one of Soweto's hottest new nightlife venues, owned by two South African music juggernauts, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.
After overcoming construction delays that postponed the establishment's initial opening, Kabza De Small led PianoHub lounge to open its doors to the public on 23 September 2024, in time for what was a busy festive season. The club did close momentarily after December to reopen in Late January.
Kabza and Maphorisa have made a significant mark in the local music industry by pushing the Amapiano genre to new heights. This venture has allowed them to foster new talent and bring the genre's purists together to party under one roof.
A snap of Modise was shared in a series of PianoHub's Instagram story posts taken from a Monday night event, which saw performances from the aforementioned SA music giants and rapper, Maglera Doe Boy, as well as "iPlan" hitmaker, Thukzin.
