The story
Maswanganyi recently inspired some young minds with his few but impactful words of wisdom at a Johannesburg-based school.
Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder received a hero's welcome at the Tersia King Learning Academy, where the students excitedly chanted "Weh, Tito," highlighting his popularity among the youngest local football fans.
The 26-year-old visited Tersia King Learning Academy on what seemed to be an Inter-House Sports Day for the Primary School on Friday.
In a video shared on Twitter/X by Radio 2000 journalist Karabo Phasha, the learners could barely contain their excitement as they listened to Tito speak after the event.
"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be here, it means a lot to see you guys here at school and participating in sports. You guys to should make sure that you listen to your teachers, parents and make sure that you follow your dreams," he said the baller to the learners in Hospital View, Tembisa.

Maswanganyi might've attended this event injury as he was sidelined for the Buccaneers' 2-1 win over league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in a top of the table clash.
As a result, Maswanganyi has been forced to withdraw from the Bafana Bafana squad and has been replaced by Polokwane City midfielder, Ndamulelo Maphangule.
Tito had an outstanding performance for Bafana last November, scoring against both Uganda and South Sudan as Broos' side secured top spot in their group for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
