The story
Stellenbosch FC are in Egypt to take on Zamalek for their historic second-leg CAF Confederation Cup clash against African powerhouse Zamalek on Wednesday evening.
The players were afforded some time off in preparation for the crucial encounter, which remains tied at 0-0 after both sides played out a stalemate in Cape Town last week.
To add some more everlasting memories to this trip, the club shared footage of the ballers and staff at the Pyramids of Giza.
The Stellies ballers embraced the unreal scenery of one of the last remaining Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Constructed around 4,000 years ago, the great pyramids of Giza are one of the world's most famous and discussed structures in history.
Steve Barker's troops took pictures and kicked a ball around as they made their way around the pyramids, with Camel rides also forming part of their touristy itinerary for the day.
