The story
Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams made a surprise appearance at Loftus Versfeld for South Africa's first Test match against Ireland.
Williams was a flag bearer for the Rugby World Cup champions and proudly represented South African football in front of over 50 000 supporters, wearing his red Bafana Bafana goalkeeper's jersey.
Mzansi's number 1 was accompanied by MMA champion fighter, Dricus du Plessis, who carried his UFC belt onto the pitch and award-winning Ndebele contemporary artist, Esther Mahlangu was also on the field before kick-off.
