The story
Attacking midfielder, Patrick Maswanganyi broke Kaizer Chiefs hearts with a dramatic last-minute penalty, helping Pirates secure a 1-0 win in a tense Soweto Derby at the sold out FNB Stadium.
The match appeared set to end in a goalless draw until Relebohile Mofokeng was fouled inside the box by Njabulo Blom as he surged towards goal during stoppage time.
Maswanganyi kept his composure, sending goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma the wrong way to execute an elegant Panenka-style spot kick, sparking wild celebrations among Pirates' supporters, players and staff.

"Tito" is finding his goal scoring form for the Buccaneers again, with the winner against Chiefs being his first in the league this season and his third in Pirates' last two games.
It seems as if the 26-year-old midfield virtuoso took inspiration from one of his older Panenka penalties that he took during a Kasi Football tournament in 2017.
