The story
Newly promoted Magesi FC have showcased their new Home strip ahead of the new 2024/25 Betway Premiership season, which gets underway on 14 September.
As head coach, Clinton Larson admitted during the Limpopo-based club's unveiling of 12 new players back in July, Magesi's convincing run to the Motsepe Foundation Championship title and promotion last season took everyone at the club by surprise, and likely the rest of the South African football fraternity too.
Dikwena Tsa Meetse have not only assembled a squad they feel is good enough to maintain their top flight status, but have also dropped an eye-catching kit to celebrate their first season in the Betway Prem.
Magesi's Primo Home round-neck jersey has a base colour of navy, with jagged splashes of white and royal blue. The jersey also features plain white sleeves, to give the patterns on the jersey the spotlight it deserves.
Magesi Chief Executive Officer (CEO), John Mathibe, shared his views on the club's new home kit:
"Our home kit is blue and white. It's vibrant. I like the textture. It's very comfortable for the players. It's our second season with Primo and the players love it. All of us love it."
The Away and Third jerseys are a thing of beauty from the Primo designers, with the former showcasing predominately navy kit, with aqua blue detailing in a thunderbolt-inspired pattern, with the logos and club crest in bright pink.
