The story
Cape Town City have further bolstered their attack after confirmed the signing of former France junior international striker, Amadou Soukouna.
The 32-year-old has previous experience in South Africa's top flight with Maritzburg United (now Durban City), enjoying a successful two-year spell where he scored 11 goals in 35 starts in all competitions.
Soukouna can be considered as a bit of a journeyman, as the Frenchman has played his football in Bulgaria, Israel and more recently Thailand after leaving Maritzburg in 2023.
On his return to South Africa, Soukouna will hope for many happy returns in front of goal as he faces the mammoth task of leading the line for the Citizens following Khanyisa Mayo's departure.
