What's the story?
After this stunner of a kit was launched before Banyana Banyana's FIFA Women's World Cup campaign, Bafana Bafana could finally give it its first run out against Benin.
Bafana's Twitter/X page showcased behind-the-scenes footage of players wearing two different kits for a Le Coq Sportif photoshoot, both kits haven't been worn yet by Hugo Broos' outfit.

Bafana to debut '96 AFCON-inspired kit?
Bafana Bafana are set to kick-off their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Durban this Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium against Benin.
Next week Tuesday, they will have a tricky task on their hands as they take on Rwanda away from home, with hopes of getting their World Cup qualifier campaign to the perfect start.
In two clips shared on social media, Bafana Bafana stars Nkosinathi Sibisi, Percy Tau, Sibongiseni 'Ox' Mthethwa, Nyiko Mobbie and newbies Bradley Cross and Jayden Adams, were modelling the green away kit and the alternate kit that's influenced by the iconic Kappa jersey worn by in Bafana Bafana's triumphant 1996 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

It's not clear what the Le Coq Sportif shoot was for but seems to indicate that Bafana will be wearing both kits in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The alternate kit will be the one to turn heads if Bafana wear it this weekend. None of the national teams have worn it since its release earlier this year.
Here's a look at the aforementioned players in the away and alternate kits:
