
Kaizer Chiefs' Game With AmaZulu Has Been Moved

Kaizer Chiefs' upcoming game against AmaZulu next week has been shifted due to the Amakhosi's CAF Confederation Cup commitments in Zambia. Read: 'Middendorp? You'd Have To Ask My Brother...' The Glamour Boys were due to tackle Usuthu on January 15 in the Absa Premiership as they look to move up the league table, however it has now been confirmed that it will be played the following day on January 16. Chiefs confirmed that the change was made due to the fact that their clash with ZESCO United will only take place on January 13, and they have been given some extra time to recuperate in between the two games given the travel time involved. They said in a statement on their official website, "Please be advised of the date change affecting the Absa Premiership fixture between AmaZulu against Kaizer Chiefs. Originally, Amakhosi were scheduled to visit Usuthu on Tuesday, 15 January 2019. The new date is set for Wednesday, 16 January at the same venue, King Zwelithini Stadium. "The game was moved a day due to Chiefs' CAF Confederation Cup game in Zambia on Sunday, 13 January. Kick-off remains unchanged at 19:30." Chiefs take on Bidvest Wits this evening as seek a return to winning ways following the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
