The 32-year-old has scored three Absa Premiership goals for the Amakhosi this season as they missed out on both the league title and a spot in the CAF Champions League, however he's not prepared to give up on the campaign just yet. Chiefs come up against their rivals for a place in the CCC on Saturday, with Maritzburg United knowing that a win would guarantee their place and see the Glamour Boys succumb to a fourth-place finish at best. Parker is now looking to finish the season on a high so that the team can refresh in the offseason and try to come back stronger in 2018/19. Speaking to the club's official website he said, "We are on a mission to finish third, as that will give us a position in the CAF Confederation Cup. We have been knocked hard. We need to reset ourselves mentally, it's a big challenge as a footballer. We have to be mentally strong and stick together. We want to win the final two matches of the season because we want to finish in a good frame of mind." The two teams will lock horns at 15h00 on Saturday afternoon as Fadlu Davids and Patrick Mabedi go toe-to-toe.
