After leading Mamelodi Sundowns to their 10th Premiership title last year, Pitso Mosimane made history by leading Egyptian giants Al Ahly to their 10th CAF Champions League title. See how they celebrated.
Mosimane won the competition just a few months after joining Ahly in 2020 and he has now done it again by leading Africa's most successful side to a 10th title.
Ahly ran riot in the second half to record a 3-0 victory over 10-man Chiefs, who lost Happy Mashiane before half-time when he was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle on Akram Tawfik.
Mosimane's gold medal was handed to him by former Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe, who is now the president of CAF. Mosimane had his South African flag wrapped around his neck.
Ahly will play Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the CAF Super Cup final. Raja won the Confederation Cup after beating Algerian side JS Kabyile last weekend. Mosimane has won the Super Cup on two occasions previously and will be looking to make it a third.
