Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies qualified for the CAF Women's Champions League semi-finals as group winners after their goalless draw with FAR Rabat on Friday evening.
Sundowns maintained their winning start in the group stages on Tuesday evening with victory Rivers Angels, while Rabat suffered defeat to Vihiga Queens.
The encounter got off to a lively start with both goalkeepers being called into action in the opening 10 minutes of the first stanza.
Sundowns managed to carve out another opening on 18 minutes when Chuene Morifi looked to pick out Andisiwe Mgcoyi in the box, but the Rabat goalkeeper did well to intercept the cross.
Despite both sides looking to secure maximum points to advance to the next round, clear-cut chances were hard to come by in the remaining stages of the first half.
The South African champions came out firing in the second half, as Nonhlanhla Mthandi forced Khadija Er-Rmichi into save eight minutes after the restart.
Sundowns coach Jerry Tshabalala opted for his first change just after the hour mark as Boitumelo Rabale replaced Bongiwe Thusi for the final 30 minutes.
However, Rabat were unable to find a way past Sundowns defence as the South African secured a point and place in the semi-finals as Group B winners.
