AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy has set his sights on progressing in the CAF Champions League when Usuthu take on TP Mazembe.
Usuthu have a tough task ahead as they travel to Democratic Republic of Congo to face the five-time CAF Champions League winners for their second leg clash fixture in Lubumbashi on Saturday afternoon.
The Durban-based side managed to stop Mazembe from scoring last Friday, with the game ending in a goalless draw.
The winner will qualify for the group stage of the continental showcase and McCarthy is aiming for a win.
"For now, we are going to Mazembe to try not to lose so that we can get into the group stages of the Champions League," McCarthy said, addressing the media this week.
The former Bafana Bafana striker understands the magnitude of the game and is confident ahead of the clash.
"We are one match away from qualifying for the group stages. I'm excited and nervous at the same time because we know they've won the Champions League five times and they have a good pedigree."
"We didn't disappoint ourselves at home, so we have a chance to go and do something magical, something that has never been done before by the club," he said.
