For a seventh successive season in continental football, Masandawana and the Club of the Century will meet. After their second-leg victory over the Sudanese giants, Ahly boss Koller was quizzed on his initial thoughts about facing Sundowns once again, and he said he is once again expecting a complicated clash.
"We faced Sundowns in many matches, and our goal was to qualify for the final. Sundowns have the motivation to win, and Al Ahly is capable of winning the title. The team's performance wasn't the best,” the Swiss tactician said, as per El Rayada.
"All possibilities are open to Sundowns. The matches will be difficult, and we want to win the third consecutive title and achieve a historic achievement."
