According to Brazilian outlet Globo, the tactician known as "The Special One" is among four high-profile candidates being considered by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to become the next manager of the Selecao.
The South American giants recently suffered a record-breaking 4-1 defeat at the hands of reigning world champions Argentina in FIFA World Cup qualification, a result that led to the dismissal of Dorival Junior. While the Brazil job presents Mourinho with a unique opportunity to lead the most successful World Cup nation on the biggest stage, it remains to be seen whether he will depart Istanbul, having only joined the club at the start of the campaign.
