There have been questions regarding the coach's future as Bafana coach post his AFCOn success in which he led the country to a third-place finish.
Broos himself quirked in a recent interview that there has been interest in his services from a number of countries and that he was a candidate for the Club Brugge Technical Director position.
Now, it is understood that Broos is in talks with the Tunisian Football Association about taking over their head coach role.
A potential stumbling block, according to reports, is Broos' long-term contract with SAFA, which runs to June 2026.
The reports state that the 71-year-old is working his way around getting out of his contract before taking up his new post but that the upcoming match against Algeria could be his final in the Bafana Bafana dugout.
