While he continues to set the scene alight at club level, the same cannot be said for Khanyisa Mayo's form for Bafana Bafana where he continues to draw blanks in front of goal and now Siphiwe Tshabalala has provided some key advice for the forward.

Mayo's form for Cape Town City is in stark contrast to that of Bafana Bafana.
He has found the back of the net 10 times in 21 appearances for the Citizens - but he is yet to break his duck for Bafana Bafana in six outings since 2022.
His latest blank came against lowly Andorra, following up on similar performances against Sierra Leone, Angola, Botswana and Eswatini.
While he continues to look for his maiden international goal, Mayo has received some advice for a man who has found the back of the net 12 times in 91 appearances for the national team.
"He's a good footballer and he's got an eye for goals. And I'm happy that he got his chance and we must understand sometimes it's not a rejection. If you are a positive person, you also take not as a 'not now'. Wait, your turn will come. Keep on working hard and he did that. I'm sure he was disappointed that he didn't get a nod for AFCON and he never put his head down after that. He kept on working hard. He kept on scoring goals, so an opportunity will always come and. It might not come at the time that you want, but it will always come. Sometimes it does not mean if it doesn't happen now, it's not gonna happen," Shabba told journalists in a Nedbank Cup briefing.
"Even so, I wish him well and he must just remain levelheaded. Work very hard and the most important thing about cementing your place in the national team, it's not in the national team, it's at club level. So, you must be consistent at that level, week in, week out, and when you do that, it enhances your chances of playing for the national team. Cause when you're at the national team, there's limited time to prepare. Coaches have limited time three or four days, so it's not much. So if you do well at club level, definitely you will do well in the national team," he continued.
Mayo is likely to feature off the bench for Bafana Bafana in their upcoming friendly against Algeria on 26 March.
