Word reaching the Siya crew is that Cape Town City have opened talks with the camp of Haashim Domingo over a possible transfer of the player.
As reported by Soccer Laduma this week, City are keen on possibly luring the 28-year-old back to the Mother City after a year in Morocco, where he has been on the books of Raja Casablanca. Now, the latest news is that the Citizens have opened talks with the player's camp!
According to Siya sources, a move could be on the cards for the former Mamelodi Sundowns man after he saw a significant decrease in his game-time at the club.
Furthermore, it is understood that there have been no talks between the two clubs just yet. The Eric Tinkler-led side is in the market for a number 10 and have made Domingo their primary target to fill that role.
The player last featured on 2 February when he came on for the final minute of the match in a 2-0 Botola Pro League win over Hassania. Domingo penned a two-year deal with the Moroccan giants in June last year, which is set to expire in 2025.
