Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who has not been able to take charge of a match in more than three weeks, has sent out a message regarding the coronavirus outbreak that has rocked the world.
The Premier League champions have launched a new website, called "Cityzens At Home", dedicated to giving their supporters news, advice and activities during these worrying times.
Speaking in a video message posted on the site, Guardiola encouraged fans to do everything they can to follow instructions from medical professionals, saying the football fraternity will come back stronger than ever.
"We miss football," he said.
"We miss the life that we had a few days ago but now is the time to listen, to follow our scientists, doctors and nurses.
"You are my football family and we are going to do everything possible to make you feel better.
"We'll come back from this stronger, better, kinder… and a little bit fatter. Stay inside, stay safe."
The Premier League is unlikely to return in April as initially thought as lockdown in England continues to ensure that the spread of COVID-19 is stopped.
