In possibly the biggest blow to the footballing world to date, it appears that the continued existence of Ligue 1 in France is in serious danger after a number of the league's clubs near bankruptcy due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Per worrying reports emerging from France over the weekend, with all football activities suspended, it is alleged that half of the professional clubs in the league will have to file for bankruptcy if the ongoing situation does not improve.
