Barca have already confirmed the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City, but Xavi was looking to add numbers in the attack after Sergio Aguero was forced to retire following a heart issue.
However, it seems the Blaugrana will not be getting their man in the January transfer window, according to the Juventus manager.
"I told Alvaro that he is staying here, he is not leaving Juventus, end of story," he told reporters, as per The Daily Mail.
