The coronavirus has infected more than 1 million people, with the death toll rising to over 53 000 worldwide, according to latest figures released just now.

In some breaking news, the John Hopkins University has just confirmed that the number of worldwide cases has reached 1 million.
The United States have the biggest amount with 245 559, followed by Italy with 115 242 and Spain with 112 065.
China, where the virus was first discovered, was overtaken by Germany with 84 794 cases in the European nation in comparison to 82 794 in the Asian country.
However, in terms of deaths Italy is sadly leading the way with 13 915 confirmed deaths. Spain follows in second position with 10 348 deaths.
In some positive news, over 211 775 cases were recovered around the globe, with the biggest portion of this number coming from China with 76 724.
South Africa's latest figures rose to 1 462, which is an increase of 82 to the previous update.
