With Egypt's Mohamed Salah and Senegal's Sadio Mane in fine goalscoring form in the UEFA Champions League this week, here are the top African goalscorers in the history of the competition.

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba leads the all-time standings for the African continent with 44 UCL goals. The striker played for Marseille, Galatasaray and the Blues in the competition, and scored for all of them.
Cameroon superstar Samuel Eto'o is in second place, but is some way off the Ivorian's mammoth tally. The 36-year-old has found the back of the net 33 times in the Champions League so far, and for the likes of Real Madrid, Mallorca, FC Barcelona, Internazionale and Chelsea.
In third place is Sporting Lisbon striker Seydou Doumbia, who has managed to net a total of 19 UCL goals until now. The 30-year-old scored the bulk of his goals for Russian giants CSKA Moscow, a club he made 150 appearances for.
Making up the rest of the top 12 goalscorers, according to UEFA, are Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, George Weah, Vincent Aboubaker, Emmanuel Adebayor, Mohamed Salah, Michael Essien, Rabah Madjer, Yssouf Kone and Obafemi Martins.
