Los Blancos played out a goalless draw against rivals Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby on Saturday, in what was a predictably fiery LaLiga encounter.
Ramos, who was recently named in the 2019 FIFA FIFPro Men's Team of the Year, was at his combative best throughout the clash, but let his temper boil over during the first half when he was seen casting angry protestations against an assistant referee.
The 33-year-old's behaviour drew an angry reaction from Atleti manager Diego Simeone, who stormed down the tunnel at half-time to complain to match referee Gonzalez Gonzalez, and a small scuffle reportedly broke about between players soon after.

According to AS, the reason behind the tension stems from Ramos allegedly calling the assistant referee "la puta que te pario", which roughly translates to mean "son of a b***h".
The defender was not booked for his outburst, which angered Simeone after his player Diego Costa was sent off and handed an eight-match suspension for a similar offence last season.

Reports suggest that the matter will be investigated and that Spain's joint-most capped player of all time could face a four-match suspension if found guilty, meaning he would miss El Clasico against Barcelona on 26 October.
