The Brazilian attacker has been subjected to intense racist abuse since ascending to superstardom in recent seasons with Los Blancos.
The most notable instance perhaps came during a clash against Valencia away at the Mestalla during the 2022/23 campaign.
The perpetrators of that incident have since been arrested, but the two-time UEFA Champions League winner has now revealed the actions he and his Real teammates will take should he, or any of his teammates of colour, be abused on the basis of their skin colour.
Speaking to CNN, the Sao Goncalo native said: "Today – maybe [some fans] are still racists – but nowadays they are afraid to express themselves in the football field, and in places where there are a lot of cameras. And with that we will reduce racism, little by little.
"Of course, we won't be able to end it, but I'm already happy that I'm being able to change Spain's mindset.
"In the club, we talk about it more often. Not just me, but all players said that if that happens, the next time everyone has to leave the field so that all of those people who insulted us have to pay a much bigger penalty.
