The first Madrid derby of the season failed to produce a winner at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday afternoon.
Despite failing to get the goals, it seems there was drama on the field as Spanish publication Marca reported that Ramos made a remark to the linesman allegedly insulting his mother.
The report goes on to claim that Simeone's request was granted by the referee, who instead decided to reprimand the Atletico coach on the sideline.
During last season's Madrid derby, Diego Costa was sent off for similar offence and was later handed an eight-game ban for the incident.
When asked about the incident after the game, Simeone was quoted as saying by Marca, "What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch, but the linesman knows what he said."
