The Spanish winger first debuted for Barcelona as a 15-year-old, and has broken plenty of records for both club and country since.
The youngster is already an integral figure for the Blaugrana, scoring four goals and providing five assists in his opening eight league matches this season as they currently sit at the top of the LALIGA standings.
He is also a prominent star for Spain, helping them win their record-setting fourth UEFA European Championship title a few months ago.
His performances have earned him a nomination for the 2024 Ballon d'Or award, and while he may not be expected to win it this year, his current trajectory suggests he is bound to be given the prestigious Golden Ball award at some point in the near future.
When Los Blancos central defender Antonio Rudiger was quizzed about the Catalan native, the Germany international put his club allegiance to the side and admitted that Lamine Yamal has a promising career ahead of him.
"You have to give credit to what he's doing," the 31-year-old told Inside Scoop.
"He's ridiculous, ridiculous. He has an impressive future ahead of him. I hope he stays healthy because you should never wish anyone ill.
