Serbia international Luka Jovic joined Los Blancos from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal reportedly worth €60 million last month (R1 billion).
Shortly after penning the deal with Real, publications in Serbia reported that the 21-year-old was set for a loan spell, while there were also reports that the striker has failed to impress manager Zinedine Zidane.
However, Jovic, who registered 27 goals and seven assists for Frankfurt last season, has insisted he never took the rumours seriously.

"I laughed at some of the news. The media will always put out such stories," Jovic told Novosti, as per AS. "I have gotten used to all kinds of rumours since the beginning of my professional career. I have accepted the fact that there will always be these kinds of things. Time will tell what it is true. "I tried not to read newspaper articles, not to respond to rumours like this, and concentrate only on my game."Read: 10-Man Real Off To Flying Start In LaLiga How many goals do you think Jovic will score for Real this season?
