Upon his stunning return to Real Madrid's starting XI after a two-year loan spell away from the club, James Rodriguez has responded to the warm reception he received at the Santiago Bernabeu this weekend.

It first appeared that the Colombian would be sold in this transfer window, but after being handed a start in Real's 1-1 draw with Real Valladolid on Saturday night, perhaps he has a future at the Spanish giants after all.
The 27-year-old was welcomed back to Los Blancos' starting XI this weekend with a huge reception from the excited home supporters following his two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich.
Despite only playing 57 minutes, the playmaker took to social media outlet Twitter to show his appreciation at the warm welcome he received.
