Speaking on Spanish television channel El Chiringuito, and as reported by Marca, Pogba's brother Mathias has claimed the 2018 Fifa World Cup winner is unhappy at Manchester United and could still make the move to Madrid before the European window closes.
"We all know my brother wants to leave Manchester United, but this whole situation is not his fault," Mathias said.
"He will keep working hard and we'll see what happens later. (Real Madrid manager) Zidane is one of the greats, I think he won't have a problem to win titles if the club gives him the players that he wants.
"…what Zidane needs is my brother, and I believe he also needs another midfielder. Of course, I think Florentino (Perez, Real president) can sign my brother, nothing in this life is impossible."

Mathias also highlighted that, while Pogba and Los Blancos seemingly both want the move to happen, there are a number of challenges stopping the deal from happening.
"Manchester United will ask for a lot of money, but he isn't worth €200 million (R3.3 billion). The situation is very sensitive right now but each player has his personal goals, he will leave if he has to leave," he added.
"…you never know what can happen in football. Anything can happen until September the 2nd. The problem is that Manchester United's owner doesn't want to negotiate."
