Despite enduring a public fallout with Real manager Zinedine Zidane, and coming within inches of leaving the club for China, Bale started for Real in their 3-1 win over Celta Vigo this past weekend.
The Wales international put in a solid performance and provided the assist for the opening goal of the match scored by Karim Benzema, before being substituted for Isco late in the second half.

After the game, Zidane praised Bale's performance and confirmed that the 30-year-old would be staying with the club.
"He's here like the rest of us. I'm pleased with the way he played. He's staying. Vini (Vinicius Junior) and Bale did really well and defended well," Zidane said, as reported by Marca.
The French tactician had previously been at loggerheads with Bale over a number of issues, including the former Tottenham Hotspur star's personal training regime, his failure to learn Spanish, and the amount of time he spends playing golf.
