The Portugal captain joined the Knights of Najd in January 2023 after leaving Manchester United in November 2022, ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ronaldo had his deal mutually terminated at the Red Devils following a fallout with Erik ten Hag, and accepted the opportunity to become the face of football in Saudi.

The former Premier League forward is believed to be eager to win trophies at the club and reached the 1 000-career goal mark too, with his family also enjoying life in the country.
