According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Knights of Najd will appoint Italian head coach Stefano Pioli as their next boss.

The 58-year-old was most recently in charge of Serie A giants AC Milan, whom he managed between 2019 and May this year.

This decision come amid Al Nassr's call to part ways boss Luis Castro, who was said to be recommended by Ronaldo in July 2023.

The Portuguese tactician oversaw 54 matches during his time at Al Nassr, and leaves having averaged 2.17 points per game.

Pioli, meanwhile, will take his managerial expertise outside of Italy for the first time in his career, having previously worked at 12 different clubs in his home country.
