Cristiano Ronaldo has named the four footballers he believes can win the Ballon d'Or in the future, an award he has claimed five times in his career.

The Portuguese forward got his hands on his first Ballon d'Or trophy while at Manchester United in 2008.
Ronaldo would go on to win the prestigious individual prize another four times, in 2013 and 2014, and again in 2016 and 2017.
Only his long-time rival Lionel Messi, with eight titles, has claimed the Ballon d'Or on more occasions, although Ronaldo stands alone when it comes to nominations.
The ex-Real Madrid and United talisman has been a nominated candidate 18 times, twice more than Messi, but who does he believe can challenge for the accolade going forward?
Speaking to ex-teammate Rio Ferdinand for his new YouTube channel recently, Ronaldo backed Kylian Mbappe to win the Ballon d'Or in the future, along with three more stars.
"(Kylian) Mbappe can be the next Golden Ball winner. Him, (Erling) Haaland, (Jude) Bellingham, Lamine (Yamal)," he said.
