Veteran full-back Dani Alves has explained why Cristiano Ronaldo was the toughest player he has ever faced.
The Brazilian enjoyed a successful career in Europe, where he won numerous trophies with Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

So it is no surprise that Alves has come up against some of the best wide players over the last decade, but a long-running battle with a Real Madrid star was his toughest.
Whe asked who was his toughest opponent, Alves told Marca, "Cristiano Ronaldo.
"This b*****d doesn't let you breathe for a second. I didn't do too badly, but it's difficult. He's a scoring machine."
The 38-year-old has also revealed he has not thought about retiring from professional football just yet.
"I don't like to think about the future because it's always unknown. I let life take me. If Messi passes me (in titles) I'm going to play until I'm 50," he added.
