Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence after it was claimed he has become frustrated with Lionel Messi's growing reputation at Paris Saint-Germain and is desperate to leave the club in the next transfer window.
Mbappe 'Loses Allies' In PSG Dressing Room
Last week, it was reported across Europe and France that the 23-year-old had fallen out with the club amid suggestions he was furious that certain promises had not been fulfilled.
Mbappe was reportedly told PSG would sign a world-class striker so he would not have to lead the line, while rumours claimed he had become annoyed by Messi's growing influence in the dressing room.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup was said to be seeking a departure from the French giants as soon as possible as a result, but has since denied requesting an exit at the turn of the year.
"I have not asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January," he told RMC Sport after PSG's 1-0 win over Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday night.
"I'm not furious with the club, it's not true."
Head coach Christophe Galtier, meanwhile, lost his cool ahead of his side's win in Le Classique after he was hounded with questions over Mbappe's future in his pre-match press conference.
Mbappe played a full 90 minutes on Sunday as PSG defeated Marseille to remain unbeaten in all competitions, assisting Neymar's stoppage-time strike in the first half that turned out to be the winning goal.
Messi, meanwhile, was taken off just after the 80-minute mark after he returned from a two-game absence.
