According to The Sun, INEOS CEO Sir Jim Ratcliffe will hand Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag a significant transfer kitty amid rumours he has agreed a deal to buy a 25% stake in the club.
Almost a year after the Glazer family announced they were open to investment, it is believed that Ratcliffe is set to assume control of the football operations at the 20-time English champions.
The report claims Ten Hag will be supported in bringing new faces into the club and selling a few players in the January transfer window, with three high-profile first-team stars tipped to be placed on the transfer list.
It is reported that wingers Jadon Sancho and Antony will be put up for sale, as well as striker Anthony Martial, who has scored just a single goal for United so far this season.
In terms of potential acquisitions, it is said Ten Hag and his recruitment team will be looking to bring in a new right-back and an attacking player who is adept at playing on either wing.
Sancho has not featured for the Red Devils since September, while supporters have been frustrated with Antony's performances for the club since his big-money arrival in 2022.

Martial, meanwhile, has found the net on only 11 occasions since the start of the 2021/22 campaign, and will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire next year.
