Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been complaining about Erik ten Hag's training methods this season.
Despite finishing as United's top scorer last season with 24 goals across all competitions, Ronaldo has not been first choice under Ten Hag this campaign.
The 37-year-old forward was reportedly trying to find a new club in the last transfer window after United failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League last campaign.
Report: No Top Clubs Want Ronaldo
However, nothing had materialised for the Portuguese forward and he has now been relegated to a bench role after missing most of the pre-season.
The Times have reported that Ronaldo and Ten Hag are at loggerheads over a disagreement that began him being unused substitute in the Manchester derby last weekend.
The report claims Ronaldo is said to have critics the Dutch man's tactics and his training methods since taking over this season.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is likely to resume his bench role on Sunday against after a frustrating evening against Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League on Thursday.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood says it was not good look for Ten Hag that Ronaldo and Casemiro were spotted whispering to each other on the bench during the 6-3 loss to Man City.
"For me, that wasn't a good look, him looking at Casemiro there. If I was the manager and I turn around and I am watching them two whispering around, I am thinking, 'I'm not sure if they are on side.' Why has be bought Casemiro to the club? He's fully fit, give him the opportunity to play, get him on the pitch as soon as you can.
"We are talking about a five-time Champions League winner, why on earth is he sitting next to Cristiano Ronaldo, the greatest player we have seen on the bench? It's different if you have top-drawer players on the pitch but those two are good enough to play in the Manchester United side."
